Today, there are more than 1,200 children and youth waiting for a mentor in the Edmonton area—48 of those children and youth live in your neighborhood and surrounding communities. Due to the compounding effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising cost of living, children and families are experiencing escalating mental health risks and further isolation and anxiety; But you can help make a difference.
Did you know... children who have a mentor in their lives will:
· Enjoy healthier peer relationships
· Show a reduced use of drugs and alcohol
· Experience better school performance
